Who We Are
Dr. Márcia Flexa is a researcher and ceramics enthusiast. She is a psychologist, holds a PhD and a master's degree in education and art, a postgraduate degree in Communication, HR and Distance Learning, and is currently a postgraduate student in Neuroscience, studying education, art and happiness in her postdoctoral program. Teles has a lot of experience in the Maker world. Her ingenuity and tireless search for performance make our lathe a machine in constant improvement.
We are committed to art and education and want to offer autonomy and access to art, education and happiness!
How the project was born
Innovation and Accessibility in Education. At the heart of our mission is TET2021, the first version of an electric lathe that was born at the school to materialize the idea of accessible, maker-based and shared education. With TETMais, TETMais R and TET Speed, we are living the continuous process of improvement and development of a portable, bivolt and accessible lathe, allowing more people to experience the joy of access to ceramic art and the autonomy of turning anywhere.
Dr. Márcia Flexa is a professor, researcher, and psychologist who is passionate about ceramics. She holds a post-doctorate in education, art, and cultural history, with specializations in communication, human resources, distance learning, and neuroscience. Valdeni Teles is a courageous, resourceful, and creative Brazilian, a natural maker. He and Márcia have lived educational and intelligent experiences that go beyond the conventional. Together, they transformed a concept in Education (“Social Technology, integrated, shared knowledge, and Maker”) and have built stories by transforming ideas and needs into dynamic, engaging, and connected learning!

Commitment
